Crandall Star Softball Pitcher Named To TGCA All-State Team

CRANDALL – Crandall High School standout hurler Rose Meshell has been named to the Texas Girls Coaches Association Class 4A all-state softball team. Players are nominated by member coaches and selections are made by the TGCA All-State Committee during the UIL State Softball Tournament.

Meshell posted a 17-2 record with 76 strikeouts and a 2.45 ERA for a Lady Pirate Softball squad that advanced to the Region Semi-Finals for the first time in school history. Crandall finished with a 28-6 mark and rolled through district action undefeated.

The talented right-hander, who is the daughter of Brandie and Michael Meshell of Heartland, has signed a letter of intent to play college softball at Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington.
