Kleberg Elementary School’s Jennyfer Guerrero and 17 other Dallas ISD students who have advanced to the County Spelling Bee sure can! The students, who were the top spellers at the districtwide spelling bee that featured 138 students from 77 schools, will compete Feb. 22 at Studio Movie Grill located at 10110 West Technology Boulevard.

The top Dallas ISD spellers are Jaime Pacheco (Dallas Environmental Science Academy), William Jurek (Rosemont Elementary School), David Cazares (Dallas Environmental Science Academy), Brandon Patterson (Barack Obama Male Leadership Academy), Karina Flores (Clinton P. Russell Elementary School), Waldo Camacho (H.I. Holland Elementary School at Lisbon), Alan Huang (William B. Travis Academy/Vanguard for the Academically Talented and Gifted), John Cook (Henry Longfellow Career Exploration Academy), Anna Qian (Stonewall Jackson Elementary School) and Jada Wilson (Nancy Moseley Elementary School).
Other top Dallas ISD spellers includes Anton Phillips Jr (W.A. Blair Elementary School), Jennyfer Guerrero (Kleberg Elementary School), Gabriel Torres (Victor Hexter Elementary School), Alexandra Munoz (Victor Hexter Elementary School), Gavin Portinari Eduardo (Mata Elementary School), Jean Infante (William Cabell Elementary School), Adrian Ortiz (George H. W. Bush Elementary School) and Foster Thames (Anne Frank Elementary School).
