White Bass Good At Lake Ray Hubbard

To prevent the spread of zebra mussels, the law requires draining of water from boats and onboard receptacles when leaving or approaching public fresh waters.

LAKE ATHENS
Water stained; 80–85 degrees; 0.58′ high. Black bass are good on hollow body frogs, topwater poppers and Senkos. Football jigs fished in deep water are effective as well. Crappie are good on minnows and white jigs. Catfish are good on cut shad and trotlines.

CEDAR CREEK
Water stained; 82–86 degrees; 0.18′ high. Black bass are good on topwaters early, later switching to Texas rigged Megabass Bottle Shrimp on docks. White bass are good on minnows. Hybrid striper are good on minnows and slabs. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are fair on prepared bait.

LAKE GRAPEVINE
Water stained to muddy; 26.95′ high. No report available. All ramps closed due to high water and floating debris.

JOE POOL LAKE

LAKE RAY HUBBARD
Water slightly stained; 82–85 degrees; 0.25′ high. Black bass are slow on medium to deep diving crankbaits. Crappie are slow on minnows and jigs. White bass are good on slabs. Hybrid striper are fair on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines and cut shad.

LAKE RAY ROBERTS
Water stained to muddy; 9.50′ high. No report available. All ramps closed due to high water and floating debris.

RICHLAND-CHAMBERS RESERVOIR
Water stained; 80–84 degrees; 0.53′ high. Black bass are slow on swim jigs and Carolina rigged worms. White bass are slow on minnows. Hybrid striper are fair on minnows and slabs. Crappie are good on jigs. Catfish are good on trotlines and cut shad.

LAKE TAWAKONI
Water stained; 2.14′ high. No report available. Use caution when navigating lake as floating debris is present.
